HSE Engineer (Site Supervision)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional HSE Engineer (Site Supervision) to join our team in Abu Dhabi United Arab this role you will be responsible for overseeing health safety and environmental compliance across our operations ensuring all activities meet or exceed regulatory standards and organizational policies. You will play a critical role in protecting our workforce and maintaining a safe working environment through proactive supervision risk management and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Supervise and monitor all site activities to ensure compliance with HSE regulations UAE labor laws and organizational safety standards
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and hazard identification to prevent workplace incidents and injuries
• Develop implement and maintain site-specific safety plans and procedures tailored to project requirements
• Perform regular safety audits and inspections documenting findings and recommending corrective actions
• Investigate workplace incidents accidents and near-misses; analyze root causes and implement preventive measures
• Provide safety training and competency assessments to workers ensuring they understand and follow safety protocols
• Maintain accurate HSE documentation records and reports in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Communicate effectively with site management contractors and workers to promote a strong safety culture
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in safety management
• Coordinate with external stakeholders including regulatory authorities and safety consultants as needed
• Monitor and analyze safety performance metrics to track progress and identify trends
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety equipment on site

Qualifications :

• Minimum 12 years of professional experience in HSE engineering or site safety supervision
• Strong knowledge of UAE and GCC HSE regulations labor laws and industry standards
• Proven experience conducting risk assessments hazard analyses and safety audits
• Demonstrated expertise in incident investigation and root cause analysis
• Proficiency in developing and implementing safety management systems and procedures
• NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) certification or equivalent HSE qualification (preferred)
• Familiarity with ISO 45001 occupational health and safety management standards (preferred)
