Job Purpose

HR Advisor is responsible for supporting the HR operations and implementation of AkzoNobel people agenda in Saudi Arabia site under the supervision of the country HR manager.

Key Accountabilities

  • Contribute to the achievement of the HR department objectives through managing the administrative and operational aspects of the department under the direct supervision of the HRM.
  • Support the implementation of HR policies and AkzoNobel people calendar and advise employees (specially juniors and offline workers) on applicable procedures.
  • Participate in organizing different engagement related activities that would help boost employee motivation and improve work environment.
  • Liaise the payroll process through collating different variables and entries (such as leaves housing advances deductions etc) to be processed by the regional payroll specialist.
  • Apply employee related changes effectively on different systems (ZETA & SuccessFactors) and ensure data accuracy.
  • Act as the first point of contact for employees with regards to administrative HR requests such as overtime GOSI HR letters leave queries.
  • Support the Talent Acquisition team in the recruitment process through scheduling calls and interviews organizing induction plans and contributing to the orientation process of junior employees.
  • Liaise the bluecollar recruitment in the country.
  • Maintain employee records schedules and time sheets.
  • Prepare employee contracts renewals visa applications and new joiners documents.
  • Contribute to the exit process locally (exit checklists visa cancellation coordination contract terminations on different applicable portals announcements etc).
  • Coordinate the governmental requirements of several departments (HRsD Social insurance GOSI contract authentication Qiwa HRDF)
  • Liaise with finance for employees deductions and advances.
  • Prepare relevant HR reports and trackers as required.
  • Create and maintain up to date employee files and databases (hard and soft) as per company policies and applicable laws.
  • Coordinate employee benefits such as medical insurance pension company cars etc)
  • Contribute to the success of AkzoNobel performance management system by ensuring proper documentation and application of the process specifically for offline employees.
  • Perform various administrative tasks and accurately process HR related paperwork.
  • Comply with QHSE policies and procedures at all times.
  • Support and contribute to full compliance against internal and external laws and policies.

Experience

  • Minimum Bachelors degree preferably with specialization in HR
  • Relevant experience in HR Operations and strong knowledge of Saudi Labour Laws
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (English & Arabic)
  • The ability to display a highquality customer focused mindset
  • The ability to work with minimal supervision against standard policies and operating procedures
  • Strong moral and ethical code
  • Competency in Microsoft Office
  • Good presentation skills
  • SAP SuccessFactors experience is a plus
