To ensure smooth operations in the assigned department and service is executed flawlessly. Organize and delegate task in preparation to Hotel Function and Events. Creates reports of the day events. Experience:

• Minimumof2-yearexperienceofasimilarpositionwithinafivestarhotel

• HighschooldiplomaorGED;4yearsexperienceinthefoodandbeverageculinaryorrelatedprofessionalarea.

Thefollowingarespecificresponsibilitiesandcontributionscriticaltothesuccessfulperformanceoftheposition:

• Openandcloseshiftinaccordancewithdepartmentalchecklist.
• TrainmaintainandenforceallMarriottservicestandardsusinguserecordsmenusandappropriatereferencematerials.
• Maintainasafeandsanitaryworkenvironmentforallassociatesandguests.
• Ensure departmentisfullystaffedandabletohandlevolumeofbusiness;periodicallycheckandassistasnecessary.
• Providefloorcoverageduringallmealperiods.
• Completescheduledinventoriesofsuppliesfoodandliquortocheckstockandrequisitionnecessarysupplies.
• InspectstorageareasfororganizationuseofFirstInFirstOut(FIFO)andcleanlinessandrectifyanydeficiencies.
• Followpropertykeypoliciesincludingcheckingoutandreturningkeystoappropriatedepartments.
• Attendandconductmeetingsasrequired.
• Eachassociateexpectedtocarryoutwithintheircapabilitiesallreasonable requestsbymanagement.
• To check sufficiency of manpower & supplies to ensure smooth flawless service.
• Check with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any complains/feedback.
• Coordinate with other departments in exceeding guest expectations.
• To be updated in communication between departments.
• To attend managers & Supervisors meeting.
• To ensure manpower hours are closely monitored ensuring maximum productivity of staff.
• Performs Senior Waiter duties in their absence.
• Monitors and ensures that the junior team follows all Marriott Policies and directives.
