Overview:
The opportunity
As an Engineer Full Stack you will work within the development team to build the annotation platform on both sides frontend and backend. Collaborating with Product Managers Architects and Software Engineers to research design implement and improve functionalities of the annotation platform as part of a Big Data analytic system.

Key responsibilities
- Develop visually appealing front end website architecture.
- Develop functional server scripts to support applications on the back end.
- Develop and design RESTful services and APIs.
- Stay abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.
- Ensure that nonfunctional requirements such as security performance maintainabilityscalability usability and reliability are being considered when architecting solutions.
- Keep job knowledge up to date by studying new development tools programming techniques and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal and professional networks; participating in professional organizations.
To qualify you must have
- Strong computer science and basic algorithms knowledge.
- 3 years of experience coding in Vanilla Javascript.
- 3 years of experience coding in at least one backend language (Java Python Ruby etc.).
- Knowledge of web fundamentals: HTML5/CSS3 protocols modern web standards.
- Expert knowledge of modern JavaScript.
- Strong proficiency with SQL and its variation among popular databases.
- Experience with Elastic Stack.
- Experience in media operations in browser (Canvas Audio and Video APIs).
- Understanding of relational and nonrelational databases (MySQL Elasticsearch MongoDB etc).
- Strong knowledge about programming principles (SOLID).
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs design.
