- Wash and sanitize dishes plates glasses cutlery and kitchen utensils.
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and work areas.
- Ensure all dishes are properly cleaned and stored.
- Dispose of kitchen waste according to hygiene standards.
- Assist kitchen staff with basic cleaning and preparation tasks when required.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the dish washing area.
- Follow food safety health and hygiene regulations.
- Operate dish washing machines and cleaning equipment safely.
- Report damaged or malfunctioning equipment to the supervisor.
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods.
- Previous experience as a Dishwasher Kitchen Helper or similar role is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene and sanitation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Physically fit and able to stand for long hours.
- Ability to handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
- Hardworking reliable and punctual.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts weekends and holidays.
- Previous experience in a restaurant is an advantage.
- Minimum 13 years of proven experience in housekeeping or cleaning within a hospitality environment (hotels resorts or similar).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using standard cleaning equipment and chemical products safely and effectively.
- Basic understanding of health safety and sanitation practices in hospitality settings.
