Are you ready to develop access strategies that turn a remarkable pipeline into real patient impact throughout MEA Asia and LATAM Based in Dubai UAE you will lead pricing reimbursement and value strategy execution across International Markets for our Oncology and Biopharmaceutical portfolios accelerating timely and balanced access where it matters most.
You will connect global regional and local teams to co-create compelling value propositions launch sequencing and access scenarios for wave 1 markets ensuring our science is matched by adoption and affordability. How would you elevate affiliate capabilities and secure swift reimbursement across diverse payer systems while navigating evolving policies and funding models
Working across the full patient journeyfrom screening to treatmentyou will bring together evidence policy and commercial insights to influence payers align stakeholders and remove barriers to access. Your leadership will simplify pricing governance build regional capabilities and set the standard on launch excellence.
We are recruiting for three positions through this single advertisement with opportunities available across both OBU and BBU. Candidates only need to submit one application to be considered for the relevant roles.
Accountabilities:
International Critical Initiatives:Drive International AI substantiation tools in line with International AI30 goals; pioneer innovative access approaches to enhance patient reach across diverse market archetypes especially for new assets; advise and collaborate with OMAP/GMAP and Global Governmental Affairs on strategic payer policy shaping; strengthen Marketing Company capabilities and share standards across the region
Market Access Strategy and Execution: Co-develop and assist in implementation of integrated market access strategies across International Markets aligned with global and regional priorities across BBU (R&I CVRM V&I) and OBU; lead planning for pipeline and in-line products with a focus on priority markets to secure strong reimbursement and pricing outcomes; support affiliates navigating payer HTA and reimbursement environments; identify risks and opportunities amid geopolitical shifts (e.g. MFN alternative funding models) to protect wave 1 launch ambition
Capability Building: Develop and implement market access capability-building initiatives for the Middle East Asia-Pacific and Latin American regions. Create frameworks tools training programs and protocols to improve affiliate excellence. Coach and mentor regional and local market access teams to prepare for wave 1 launch. Encourage a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing
Pricing and Financial Process Simplification: Lead simplification and optimization of pricing governance and financial processes including interactions with GPI and PRICE cases; drive consistency and clarity in pricing approval workflows contracting approaches and financial evaluations; collaborate with finance and commercial teams to streamline case development and approvals; ensure strategies align with corporate objectives compliance requirements and business cycles (MTP RBU QBR)
Case Development and Launch Strategy: Co-develop and assess pricing and reimbursement cases for new launches and lifecycle initiatives with focus on Baxfendy Tozo and ONC priorities; provide strategic feedback on pricing corridors launch sequencing and access scenarios to ensure launch feasibility and viability; partner with global and regional collaborators to evaluate financial impact profitability and access trade-offs leading completion of ILVA and IRex; support evidence-based decisions via market insights and competitive intelligence
Launch Readiness: Lead and evaluate launch readiness activities for assigned markets and support LRRs. Ensure affiliates have pricing reimbursement partner engagement evidence generation and access plans. Act as the direct link to GMAP/OMAP and global product teams. Establish readiness frameworks achievements and governance. Coordinate progress and overcome hindrances to timely patient access
Value Development and Evidence Generation:Collaborate with medical HEOR and commercial teams on evidence generation strategies. Ensure RWE and evidence needs for priority markets are captured in the Coordinated Medical Evidence Plan. Support adaptation of global value dossiers for local reimbursement requirements by leveraging the Health Economics Centre of Excellence in GMAP/OMAP
Cross-Functional and External Collaboration: Work closely with medical affairs regulatory commercial finance and supply chain teams. Build positive relationships with regional affiliates and external partners when appropriate. Support long-term planning and portfolio prioritization. Ensure alignment between regional execution and global direction to deliver balanced patient access and growth
Essential Skills/Experience:
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required; advanced degree in Life Sciences Pharmacy Health Economics Business or related field preferred
Significant experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology market access pricing reimbursement or health policy roles
Proven international experience across emerging and developed healthcare markets particularly within MEA Asia and LATAM
Strong understanding of HTA payer systems reimbursement frameworks and pricing dynamics
Proven experience leading cross-functional and multicultural teams
Strong financial competence and experience developing pricing and reimbursement cases
Critical thinking and problem solving
Strong leadership and influencing skills
Cross-cultural collaboration and partner management
Financial and analytical savvy
Change management and process simplification
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Project and launch management expertise - Ability to operate effectively in complex matrix organizations
Desirable Skills / Experience:
