The key roles and responsibilities expected from the Digital and Growth Marketing Sr. Manager are represented by:

  • Demonstrating pivotal leadership to be a part of the shift from product to customer driven mindset and instill customer and growth driven decision making
  • Competitors benchmarking - equities / areas of superiority / competitive users understanding for customer experience and digital marketing
  • Brainstorming new and creative growth strategies through digital marketing and digital customer experience action plans
  • Providing the deep digital marketing and product expertise needed to make strategic digital decisions and come up with actionable insights since the role spans many activities from strategic to tactical
  • Recommending actions and initiatives to drive performance and growth. Analysis will form essential input into roadmap of Digital & Marketing teams in Holding and businesses
  • Defining guidelines as per the trends, benchmarks and best practices with Digital Marketing, Product and Digital Analytics Managers to improve the Digital Excellence of the Group including the pillars as follows;
    • Digital Strategy
    • Digital Marketing
    • Digital Customer Experience including UI&UX
    • Digital Implementation Cycles
    • Digital Capabilities
    • Digital Analytics
  • Leading the success of all group-wide digital marketing, UI&UX, SEO/SEM/ASO, database marketing, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns, content marketing, social media presence and effectiveness of all these channels
  • Building a scalable funnel conversion model for effective engagement across multiple touch-points with brand and audience relvant content
  • Owning the performance of our Digital Marketing initiatives and to increase profitable sales growth including all digital marketing campaigns and content marketing (verifies all the content such as visuals, materials and assets) and assesses against goals (ROI, KPIs etc) and optimizes spend and performance based on the insights
  • Partnering with Businesses and stakeholders with Holding to drive actionable results that will drive success of both product, experience and growth KPIs
  • Customer spend on single brand, across MAF / % of spend on MAF brands vs total spend in category for digital channels
  • Recommending and leading the change involving emerging technologies or tools and educating businesses across the group to uplift the customer experience , engagement and digital marketing performance as well as maturity
  • Defining the group-wide product vision, strategy and roadmap and own the performance of these products across the Group
  • Overseeing the developer team and MAF Tech teams with the support of Product Manager
  • Collaborating with internal teams to optimize user experience, user funnels by an end-to-end evaluation across multiple channels and customer touch points
  • Collaborating with agencies and other vendor partners to maximize the output

Key accountabilities are to:

  • Define digital strategy, customer experience and marketing success metrics and oversee the group-wide digital customer experience and marketing performance for the Group inline with the Group strategy and vision.
  • Make sure that the digital customer experience, excellence and digital marketing strategy are inline with broader Customer, Marketing and Branding Strategy– goals, where to play, how to win choices & Key measures
  • Define, prioritize and improve the metrics for retention and acquisition for Majid Al Futtaim’s growth and strengthening the branding and value proposition
  • Communicate and present the growth plans and roadmap to improve ROI and success metrics for digital channels and products to senior management
  • Define and cascade the action plans to make an impact on business results – customer engagement,sales, share and profit growth / marketing spending reviews and ROI
  • Manage a budget of 10MN AED including both product and digital marketing initiatives at Group level
  • Ensure digital marketing and content performance and effectiveness / reach and engagement, costs and content review for own brands and competitors with Digital Marketing Manager
  • Establish goals and reviewing metrics to identify opportunities and deliver growth
  • Keep up-to-date with latest tools, technology & marketing trends and strengthen Group’s positioning to be digitally prominent in the market
  • Oversee, guide and manage developer teams, tech teams, digital marketing agencies and report the performance and suggest on maximizing the performance
