Were recruiting a Development Support Lead TEKLA for one of our clients a leading organization in the Oil & Gas industry based in Dubai UAE.
About Our Client:
- Define and enforce technical standards development protocols and QA/QC procedures for all Tekla-related deliverables
- Serve as the key technical liaison between the technical office engineering fabrication and construction teams
- Participate in strategic planning to improve BIM and Tekla integration across the organization
- Lead and contribute to the design development and maintenance of custom Tekla tools plugins components and automated workflows using Tekla Open API (C#)
- Guide the implementation of parametric components custom templates intelligent drawings and automated reporting features
- Oversee the integration of Tekla with ERP MIS CNC fabrication systems and other digital platforms
- Organize and conduct internal training sessions and workshops on advanced Tekla and steel detailing workflows
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Mandatory)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Tekla Structures development and structural steel engineering
- Proven track record of leading Tekla support and development teams in a structural steel environment
- Expertise in Tekla Open API (C#) and custom plugin development
- Extensive knowledge of steel fabrication practices international detailing codes and structural design standards
- Strong understanding of BIM workflows model coordination clash detection and multi-discipline integration
- Familiarity with platforms such as Revit Navisworks Trimble Connect and SQL databases is an advantage
