Cryptocurrency Trading System DevOps - Dubai

Our client is looking for DevOps engineers with experience developing and implementing flexible systems infrastructure to run fully-automated market making strategies using HFT methods to join their newly launched digital assets group. This group will be using high-frequency trading approaches to make markets in cryptocurrencies. The group is part of a major new strategic expansion for our client, and they are building a top-notch team to address the opportunities in the digital assets space. This group will have strong backing and ample resources to achieve success in the space.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test and deploy infrastructure-as-code for high-performance systems
  

• Work with containers and containerized workloads
  

• Build CI/CD pipelines

Requirements

Required:

• A minimum of 5 years experience as a DevOps engineer
  

• Experience with at least one of the major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc)
  

• Experience with Docker, Rancher, Kubernates, OpenShift, Terraform, Istio, etc
  

• Strong scripting skills (BASH, Python, YAML, JSON, HCL, etc)
  

• Ability to work both as part of a team and independently
  

• A bachelors degree or higher in an analytical or quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Engineering, Maths, Statistics, Computational Finance, or similar)
  

• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
  

• Experience with CI/CD tools
  

• A passion for automating everything that can be automated
  

Optional:

• Experience with, or interest in, cryptocurrencies, cryptocurrency derivatives, and/or NFTs
