Job Description

Well experienced in handling export orders from UAE to GCC countries responsible for making shipping arrangements for inbound and outbound. - Negotiate prices with logistic companies/shipping companies and freight forwarders to ensure availing the best market rate - Booking in deliveries and liaising with customers. - Booking sub-contractors and ensuring they deliver within agreed terms. - Handling shipment clearances - Tracking and monitoring shipments to ensure on-time delivery - Forward and follow-ups shipment invoices to accounts for payment - Develop reports on cargo movements and various operational logistics issues. - Update stakeholders on the status of their shipments in transit Additional Duties: - Develop reports on material and personnel movements and various operational logistics problems - Assess existing logistics operations systems and advise on corrective measures to be undertaken. - Design, implement and manage contracts in forwarding, transport and warehousing, where necessary. - Develop key performance indicators by which localized logistics contracts can be managed. - Conduct special management reviews and/or follow-up on audit observations to assist in the improvement of office procedures and practices related to logistics. Customer Service Duties: - Ensure customers receive their products in a timely manner and in good condition - Communicating effectively with clients and responding to their requirements. - Coordinate and present logistics support to ongoing operations

Desired Candidate Profile

Responsible for the sales activities of area related products in assigned accounts in the market expanding department clients’ database. - Manage quality and consistency of product and service delivery. - Maintain very limited and minimal sales return. - Perform other related duties assigned by the company. - Achieve collection target as per SOP credit system. - Develops and updates knowledge of own and competitors’ products and provides feedback on the marketing of products to increase sales revenues; - Generates and escalates periodic and requested reports ensuring accuracy and timely delivery; - Respects all of the company’s internal rules, policies and procedures; - Fills all required reports on daily, weekly, monthly and yearly bases; - Sets a good example regarding punctuality, hygiene, attendance and attitude; - Performs other duties in line with scope of work and as assigned by the direct manager
