Construction Engineer

As a mechanical construction engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, alignment, and commissioning of mechanical systems on-site. Your core duties will include supervising static and rotating equipment like pumps, compressors, turbines, heat exchangers, and pressure vessels. Additionally, you will manage high-pressure piping networks, enforce safety protocols such as Permit to Work systems, and ensure compliance with industry codes such as ASME and API.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise the installation, alignment, and commissioning of mechanical systems on-site.

- Manage static and rotating equipment including pumps, compressors, turbines, heat exchangers, and pressure vessels.

- Oversee high-pressure piping networks and ensure their efficient operation.

- Enforce safety protocols and compliance with industry standards like ASME and API.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

- Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality standards.

Requirements & Skills:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical construction engineering in the Oil and Gas sector.

- Proficiency in overseeing the installation and commissioning of mechanical systems.

- Strong knowledge of static and rotating equipment and high-pressure piping networks.

- Understanding of safety protocols and industry codes such as ASME and API.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Certification in Mechanical Engineering.
