Civil Estimation Engineer

We are hiring for a Civil Estimation Engineer for a construction and contracting company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs associated with civil construction projects including infrastructure site development earthworks roads and utilities.

The Civil Estimation Engineer will analyze project plans specifications and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates and bids.

Location: Dubai UAE

Salary: AED 7000

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze drawings specifications and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates for civil construction projects.
• Prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates for labor materials equipment and subcontractors.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes.
• Coordinate with project managers engineers and other stakeholders to ensure estimates align with project goals and constraints.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits to assess project scope and conditions.
• Maintain and organize drawing files and related documents in accordance with company standards.
• Assist in the preparation of tender submissions bid documents and project proposals.
• Monitor cost trends and provide feedback on project budgeting and forecasting.
• Support value engineering and cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering.
• Experience in civil estimating or related construction roles.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction methods materials and codes.
• Proficient in estimating software (e.g. Bluebeam Heavy Bid Plan Swift AutoCAD or similar).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
