Role Objective
The Butcher is responsible for mincing and marinating meat, as well as preparing required portions of meat in accordance with customer specifications, section operating standards, and sanitation control procedures. The incumbent is also responsible for weighing flesh, packaging it, and displaying it.
Role Specifics Essential Responsibilities And Accountabilities Planning
Use meat preparation and processing techniques to prepare products in accordance with customer specifications and standard operating procedures.
Wrap, measure, label, and price meat portions.
Prepare and position meat portions and products on the display counter in accordance with the specified instructions.
Customer Support
Assist customers with product inquiries in a professional and timely manner, and consistently provide outstanding customer service.
Promote upsells and maintain familiarity with all promotions and advertisements.
Standards for Operations and Hygiene Control
Adhere to all applicable health and sanitation procedures, as well as safe work procedures.
Utilize and sanitize all equipment properly and safely.
Maintain hygiene standards and sanitize the work area, including the freezers and chillers, and dispose of food refuse properly.
Inventory Control
Identify and separate refuse and damaged products on a daily basis, keeping track of the waste and damaged items.
Assist with receiving the supply and conduct stock counts as required.
When necessary, provide feedback and training to colleagues and peers.
Finance-Related Obligations
Create the essential measures for the ongoing reduction of operational costs.
Contribute to the development of corporate policies and pertinent procedures, and oversee their implementation.

Qualification, Experience, and Competence
Arabic, minimally five years' experience in a supermarket/hypermarket or butchery
