Assistant QC Inspector

The QC Inspector will support the Coating quality department by performing inspections and tests on coated components The role requires close collaboration with production teams to maintain high-quality standards troubleshoot issues and ensure all work complies with company SOPs and industry specifications.

• Conduct visual dimensional and nondestructive inspections of coated parts according to SOPs.
• Measure and verify coating thickness adhesion and surface finish using calibrated equipment.
• Document inspection results generate reports and track nonconformances in the quality system.
• Assist in rootcause analysis and correctiveaction implementation for defect trends.
• Ensure compliance with internal standards client specifications and applicable industry codes.
• Maintain inspection tools and calibration records to guarantee measurement accuracy.
• Support production teams by providing realtime feedback on quality issues.
• Participate in internal and external audits preparing required documentation.
• Promote a safetyfirst culture by identifying hazards related to coating processes.
• Continuously improve inspection procedures through critical thinking and bestpractice research.

• Technical Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Materials Science or a related field.
• 23 years of handson experience in manufacturing or coating environments.
• Proficiency with coating inspection tools (e.g. micrometers coating thickness gauges ultrasonic testers).
• Strong understanding of coating processes specifications and quality standards.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings work orders and technical documents.
• Excellent criticalthinking skills for problem identification and resolution.
• Effective verbal and written communication in English.
• Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration abilities.
• Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO 9001 API standards) is a plus.
