Assistant Manager Groups & Events

• Maintain complete and supported records of all sales agreements contract and quotes for the hotel as per Sofitel Policies and Procedures.
• Have a good understanding of contribution margins of each product results and work with respective heads of departments to maximize Operating results.
• Achieve Sales goals and upsell targets for Food and Beverage as well as Rooms revenue and other income as set by Director of Sales.
• Ensure that all sales contracts follow the established Hotel Policies & Procedures and are based and sound commercial judgment.
• Ensure that the Events team projects a warm professional and welcome image.
• Conducts daily sales calls and arranges site inspection trips to the hotel for Groups clients.
• Able to respond quickly to client enquiries and closely follow up on all business leads prompt
•  communication with the Be Inspired team for a quick turnaround.
• Able to support the hotels service and relationship strategy driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience.

Qualifications :

• 2 to 3 Years Experience in hotel sales.
• Strong analytical skills to understand key business indicators and competitive trends and develop approaches to these challenges
• Excellent selling capability and an ability and desire to coach selling techniques to their team
• Excellent organizational and planning skills
