Assistant Foreman

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Foreman to plan and organize daily activities, ensuring optimal productivity and efficiency.
• Assist in the supervision of construction crews and subcontractors, providing clear instructions and guidance.
• Monitor project schedules and timelines, updating the Foreman on progress and identifying any potential delays or issues.
• Coordinate the delivery of materials and equipment to ensure they arrive on time and in the correct quantities.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure that work is being performed in accordance with project specifications and safety regulations.
• Assist in the resolution of any onsite conflicts or disputes, maintaining a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including daily progress reports and job site records.
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and equipment.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in fast-paced situations.
