About Plus UAE Group:
Plus UAE Group is launching a new **Outsourced Accounting Bookkeeping Tax Compliance and Audit Support Division** in Abu Dhabi.
We are looking for an experienced **Founding Accountant** who has worked with an **accounting outsourcing firm accounting consultancy or professional accounting services company** and has hands-on experience managing accounts for multiple external clients.
This is the **first accounting hire for the new division**. The successful candidate will play a key role in setting up the service onboarding clients managing accounting operations developing processes and helping build a profitable recurring-revenue business.
**This role is not suitable for candidates whose experience is limited to handling the internal accounts of a single company.**
Key ResponsibilitiesOutsourced Accounting & Client Management
* Manage accounting and bookkeeping for multiple UAE client companies.
* Handle general ledger accounts payable accounts receivable and bank reconciliations.
* Prepare monthly **P&L balance sheets and cash-flow reports**.
* Manage client invoicing payroll accounting and financial documentation.
* Prepare VAT and corporate tax calculations returns and supporting schedules within the permitted service scope.
* Coordinate year-end closing and audit preparation.
* Maintain accounting deadlines and provide timely client reports.
* Communicate directly with clients and resolve accounting-related queries.
Build the Accounting Services Division
* Help establish and develop Plus UAE's outsourced accounting service.
* Develop accounting workflows SOPs checklists and reporting formats.
* Support the development of service packages and pricing.
* Establish client onboarding and document-management procedures.
* Implement suitable accounting software and client-management systems.
* Maintain confidentiality quality-control and compliance procedures.
* Support audit-related services through appropriately licensed partners.
Client Acquisition & Business Development
* Identify businesses that require outsourced accounting services.
* Meet business owners finance managers and SMEs to understand their requirements.
* Prepare service proposals and commercial quotations.
* Convert enquiries into recurring monthly accounting contracts.
* Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
* Cross-sell accounting services to existing **Plus UAE business setup and PRO clients**.
* Identify opportunities for bookkeeping VAT corporate tax support financial reporting and audit preparation.
Operations & Business Growth
* Manage client onboarding and ongoing service delivery.
* Track client contracts billing collections and accounting deadlines.
* Monitor service quality and client satisfaction.
* Track division revenue costs profitability and client retention.
* Support recruitment and training of additional accounting staff as the client portfolio grows.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in **Accounting Finance Commerce or a related field**.
* **47 years of relevant accounting experience**.
* Minimum **2 years of UAE accounting outsourcing/accounting services experience strongly preferred**.
* Proven experience managing accounts for **multiple external clients**.
* Strong practical knowledge of **UAE VAT and Corporate Tax**.
* Experience with bookkeeping and financial reporting.
* Proficiency in **Zoho Books QuickBooks Tally Xero or similar accounting software**.
* Strong Excel reconciliation and reporting skills.
* Good English communication and client-handling skills.
* Ability to work independently and take ownership of a new business division.
* Experience in preparing accounting proposals or onboarding outsourced accounting clients is highly desirable.
