Academic Advisor

Al Waha Consultancy Services is a Dubai-based company specializing in ISO consultancy, certification support, and professional training in Testing and Certification Services. We are currently seeking an Academic Advisor to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide academic guidance and support to students in course selection and career planning

- Assist students in understanding academic policies and procedures

- Conduct one-on-one advising sessions to help students set and achieve academic goals

- Collaborate with faculty and staff to enhance the student academic experience

- Monitor students' academic progress and intervene when necessary to ensure success

- Organize and facilitate workshops on study skills, time management, and other academic topics

Requirements & Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or related field

- 1–3 years of experience in academic advising or counseling roles

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Proficiency in English and Hindi languages

- Familiarity with educational technologies and student information systems

- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment

- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

- Certification in Academic Advising

- Experience working in higher education institutions

Candidate Preferences:

- No specific gender or nationality preferences

- Fluency in English and Hindi languages required
