About Damen

The Role
As Group Financial Controller you will play a key role within Damen Group Control ensuring accurate timely and compliant financial reporting across the group. You will act as a subject-matter expert on accounting and reporting matters supporting senior management auditors and stakeholders with high-quality financial insight and governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and coordinate monthly quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements
- Ensure correct application of IFRS / GAAP across group entities
- Design implement and maintain internal control frameworks
- Coordinate internal and external audits
- Assess complex accounting topics including leases revenue recognition impairments and provisions
- Harmonise accounting policies KPIs and reporting standards across the group
- Support M&A restructuring and special financial projects
- Drive automation and continuous improvement of financial closing processes
Your Profile
- University degree in Finance Accounting or Business Economics
- Minimum 8 years of experience in financial reporting audit or group accounting
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and consolidation principles
- Experience with ERP and consolidation tools (e.g. SAP OneStream)
- Strong analytical organisational and stakeholder management skills
