Job Description
Overview
The Lead Mechanical Engineer oversees mechanical systems associated with tower residential and office/ retail projects including HVAC firefighting water systems and related utilities.
Your role
- Review mechanical designs shop drawings and material submittals.
- Supervise installation of pumps piping firefighting systems HVAC and mechanical equipment.
- Coordinate mechanical works with civil structural electrical and MEP teams.
- Lead site inspections testing commissioning and troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with international standards (ASHRAE NFPA SMACNA).
- Prepare progress reports and identify technical challenges.
- Support procurement by evaluating suppliers and equipment specifications.
About you
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 15 - 20 years experience and extensive technical knowledge in tower residential and office/ retail projects.
- Project management and leadership skills.
- Strong knowledge of pumps HVAC mechanical utilities and fire systems.
- Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD Revit) preferred.
