Role Overview:
Orbit ISS is URGENTLY looking for a Regulatory Compliance Engineer (HVDC) to lead CE marking EU regulatory compliance ATEX/PED/MED certification and DGUV V3 alignment for HVAC and E&I systems. This role includes full oversight of certification activities vendor compliance validation and management of technical documentation for offshore HVDC systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with EU directives (Machinery LVD ATEX PED MED CPR).
- Validate vendor equipment certifications and documentation.
- Coordinate with design procurement vendors and certification bodies.
- Lead risk assessments and prepare Declarations of Conformity (DoC).
- Maintain compliance matrices technical files and traceability documents.
- Oversee DGUV V3 and ATEX requirements for E&I.
- Support HVAC self-certification and MC/ITR handover.
- Track certification status and identify compliance gaps.
- Provide training on CE marking and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Diploma/Bachelors in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years in CE marking certification or regulatory compliance (offshore/renewables/HVDC preferred).
- Strong knowledge of EU safety legislation (ATEX PED MED CPR DGUV V3).
- Experience with DoC/CoC validation & technical file preparation.
- Familiarity with ISO standards and risk assessments.
- Strong coordination documentation and communication skills.
