How does your working day look like
- Manage the availability of rooms against demand and maximize the property occupancy by applying yield management and e-commerce strategies to elevate the hotel business via direct and indirect channels to ensure optimal business mix driving RevPAR and Direct Digital goals through effective yielding and well-executed strategies and campaigns.
- Monitor reservations and revenue systems and ensure accurate and up-to-date availability rates and inventory across all channels.
- Develops Action Plans to reach daily / monthly / yearly KPIs.
- Completes all rooms forecasting to accurately project demand and pick up for groups and transient both short and long term.
- Maintains records pertaining to market segments transient pace numbers forecasts and other rooms data.
- Coordinate updates/stay restrictions or rate changes to reflect the hotel selling strategy in response to the market demand.
- Records competitive set pricing and yield strategies and completes analysis on the market and its opportunities based upon the competition and previous history.
- Makes sure rate leakages are handled and solved in a timely manner. Use Fornova system to resolve all the rate leakages for all connected partners.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize room revenue and occupancy levels.
- Analyse market trends competitor pricing and demand patterns to make informed decisions in collaboration with Cluster Director of Revenue Management.
- Monitor and adjust room rates based on market conditions and demand fluctuations in collaboration with Cluster Director of Revenue Management.
- Makes sure rate plans are correctly indexed / loaded and distributed to all channels
- Utilize revenue management tools and systems to forecast demand and maximize revenue potential.
- Analyse data to identify trends opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Provide insights and recommendations to the management team based on analysis.
- Group rate evaluation of high demand exhibitions.
- Prepares the weekly RevMax meetings and ensures completion of slides by all allied departments.
In collaboration with appointed Agency and Regional E-Commerce Team:
- Measure/evaluates hotel performance SEO SEM and PPC Campaigns
- Continuously optimize content (across all languages) - Ensure efficient use of researched keywords and recommends data-driven amends
- Review and monitor the content and search engine ranking of competitors websites and react appropriately to maintain competitiveness.
- Review content across the hotel direct websites (25hours and ) and liaise with Marketing for required changes.
- Collaborate with Cendyn to ensure ROAS on Metasearch campaigns.
- Liaise with the web agency and corporate office for any website/IBE enhancements.
In collaboration with hotel marketing:
- Develop and implement eMarketing initiatives for the hotels key feeder markets to increase the number of qualified visitors to the hotel website thus increasing revenues and conversion.
- Identify and develop joint e-commerce initiatives with qualified local regional and/or national partners/sites.
- Establish and implement the hotels annual advertising plan for electronic channels and assist with matters related to creative and media planning for PPC.
- Ensure brand and marketing message on electronic channels is consistent with overall marketing activities i.e. special promotions/offers etc.
- Research and benchmark electronic media adverts and articles to ensure that the hotel remains a market leader and collaborates with PR & Marketing closely.
- Review and regularly monitor the hotels primary competition set and maintain digital performance competitiveness
Website Analytics REV
- Analyse the website user behaviour site performance source of referrals etc.; and act accordingly.
- Analyse the website production (bookings) reports available from the website statistical package and/or from the hotels Opera property management system or any other such MIS tool.
- Provide monthly reports on website KPI to the hotels management team and the regional and corporate offices.
- Manage Sponsored Ads and Expedia Travel Ads to achieve Fair ROAs
- Drive Digital Direct goals set by Ennismore Regional and Corporate Office.
Qualifications :
Your personality counts more than your CV
Bachelors degree in Hospitality Business Marketing Finance or related field
35 years of experience in hotel revenue management reservations or e-commerce
Strong knowledge of PMS RMS CRS channel managers and OTAs
Solid analytical and forecasting skills with understanding of pricing and yield strategies
Familiarity with digital distribution website performance and online sales channels
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments
Detail-oriented organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment
