Summary:
Mechanical Technician will execute critical maintenance activities during refuelling outages at a nuclear power plant ensuring the highest standards of safety and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities and Knowledge:
- Manual Operated Valves - globe valves gate valves butterfly valves pressure safety / relief valves check valves. Overhaul replace packing and lapping;
- and/or: Flange management; bolting / torquing;
- and/or: Centrifugal pumps motor-pump alignment;
- and/or: Lubrication and bearing replacement.
- Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics on various mechanical systems
- Carry out critical component replacements and implement corrective actions to maintain optimal system performance and safety.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 3 years in mechanical maintenance - preferably at a nuclear power plant.
