Why this role
As the Managing Director of Distribution you will be responsible for leading the Distribution business to achieve strategic operational and financial success. This role is a unique opportunity to shape the future of KONE Distribution by leveraging global expertise fostering a high-performing culture and driving sustainable growth.
What will you be doing
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy to maximize market potential.
- Align the Distribution Business operations with KONEs global strategy ensuring adherence to ethical and legal standards.
Operational Excellence:
- Oversee budgets plans and policies ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
- Monitor market trends and implement proactive changes to exceed customer expectations.
- Drive operational efficiency engagement and results.
People Leadership:
- Build and lead a high-performing motivated and engaged team.
- Foster a culture of collaboration growth and development aligned with KONEs values.
Customer and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Strengthen and grow relationships with customers to enhance KONEs market position.
- Maintain proactive engagement with governmental and regulatory stakeholders shaping developments that impact the business.
Global Integration:
- Fully leverage KONEs global scale and expertise to enhance local business results.
Safety and Integrity:

Are you the one
- Masters or Bachelors degree in a relevant field.
- Proven leadership experience in a matrix organization working across functions and regions.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing country-level P&L and driving business growth.
- Track record of implementing successful business strategies and initiatives.
- Sound business acumen and a commercial mindset.
- High integrity and ethical standards.
- A people-oriented leadership style focused on team development and engagement.
- Digital awareness and a visionary approach to future business challenges.
- Fluency in English and Arabic
