ملخص الوظيفة

Every memorable dining experience at Fairmont Hotels and Resorts begins behind the scenes with our culinary teams commitment to safe efficient operations and exceptional cuisine. The care and quality you devote to food preparation as Demi Chef de Partie will result in truly spectacular fare that delights our guests. This role supports the Chef de Partie in daily kitchen operations and plays a key role in preserving the authenticity and flavors of traditional Turkish cuisine.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook Turkish dishes in accordance with standard recipes and authentic cooking methods.
  • Assist the Chef de Partie in managing daily mise-en-place and service operations.
  • Ensure consistency in taste presentation and portion control.
  • Maintain hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP) at all times.
  • Support training and guidance of Commis chefs within the section.
  • Monitor food quality freshness and proper storage (FIFO).
  • Assist with buffet setups live cooking stations and specialty events as required.
  • Report any shortages wastage or equipment issues to the Chef de Partie.
  • Maintain a clean organized and safe working environment.
  • Participate in menu development and special promotions when required.

Qualifications :

Qualifications & Skills

  • Diploma or certificate in Culinary Arts or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Turkish cuisine or a similar specialty kitchen.
  • Strong knowledge of traditional Turkish cooking techniques spices and ingredients.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Good teamwork communication and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and passion for authentic cuisine.
  • Flexibility to work shifts weekends and public holidays.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for long periods and work in a hot kitchen environment.
  • Ability to lift and carry moderate weights.
