Job Title: Senior Risk & Safety Engineer
Entity: Bureau Veritas-MER
Location:Abu Dhabi -MER
Experience: 8-12 years
Ø Basis Responsibilities
Candidates should be able to demonstrate experience and competency with the following:
- Capable of leading a team of assigned Risk & Safety engineers checking the technical integrity of deliverables delivering reports within allocated schedule and budget
- Knowledge of International and local standards and Company standards including ADNOC ARAMCO Qatar Energy NOC Shell etc.
- Fire explosion gas dispersion Consequence Analysis
- Fire & Explosion Risk Analysis (FERA)
- Building Risk Assessment (BRA)
- Fire Risk Analysis (FRA)
- Flare/ Vent Dispersion and Radiation studies.
- Escape Evacuation and Rescue Analysis
- Emergency System Survivability Analysis
- Temporary Refuge Impairment Analysis
- QRA study including event tree and fault tree analysis boat collision risk helicopter crash risk and ALARP demonstration/ cost benefit analysis.
- Dropped Object studies
- Ship Collision study
- Emergency Response Plan (ERP)/ Pre-Incident Plan (PIP)
- Development of Bow Ties HSECES list Performance Standards Safety Critical Tasks
- Preparation COMAH/ HSE Case Report
Ø Preferences
- Experience of Loss Prevention Engineering
- Experience of Human Factor Engineering RAM Functional Safety
- Experience of executing ADNOC Qatar Energy ARAMCO project
- Experience of working in CFD studies using Gexcon FLACS or equivalent software

Ø Qualification and Experience
- Degree in Chemical Engineering (or equivalent) with more than 8 years of relevant experience in Risk and Safety Consultancy
- Skills& Qualities:
- Excellent interpersonal skills communication and presentation and technical report writing skills
