We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Revenue Analyst to join our dynamic team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a Revenue Analyst you will play a crucial role in supporting our Revenue department to establish systems and strategies that maximize revenue across our organization. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of performance strategies while conducting primary and secondary research to influence the strategic direction of our Revenue team.
- Prepare and analyze daily weekly and monthly revenue reports to identify trends and opportunities for growth
- Develop proficiency in the Revenue Toolkit and information systems used by the organization
- Monitor individual and group production to ensure an optimal guest mix and maximize revenue
- Evaluate reservation requests to prevent displacement of high-yield revenue
- Contribute to the critical analysis of implemented revenue strategies and their impact
- Assist in managing and monitoring Revenue Management System (RMS) ideas and suggestions
- Support audits of the organizations presence in Global Distribution Systems (GDS) and other distribution channels
- Analyze events and market trends that may impact property revenue
- Conduct competitor research to identify potential areas for improvement in revenue practices
- Assist in demand forecasting and pricing strategy development
- Prepare comprehensive reports for weekly revenue and group pipeline meetings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement revenue strategies across multiple distribution channels
- Maintain and update the regional knowledge base with relevant market insights and best practices
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Business Economics Statistics or a related field; Masters degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis preferably in revenue or financial analysis within the hospitality industry
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and SQL for data manipulation and analysis
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal to effectively present findings and recommendations
- In-depth knowledge of statistical analysis and forecasting techniques
- Proven experience working with large datasets and complex data structures
- Solid understanding of revenue management principles and practices
- Familiarity with financial reporting and accounting principles
- Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive approach to identifying opportunities for process improvement
- Knowledge of hospitality industry trends and market dynamics
- Experience with revenue management systems (RMS) and Global Distribution Systems (GDS)
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
