We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Bell Captain to join our prestigious hotel in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As the Bell Captain you will lead our bell staff team and ensure exceptional guest experiences from arrival to departure.
Key responsibilities include:
- Oversee daily operations of the bell staff team including scheduling training mentoring and maintaining high service standards
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Manage guest experiences including greeting luggage handling room escorts and providing information about hotel amenities and local attractions
- Coordinate with other departments such as Front Desk Housekeeping and Concierge to ensure seamless guest services and resolve issues promptly
- Monitor lobby cleanliness maintain guest luggage security and manage bell service equipment
- Implement and maintain an efficient luggage tracking system to ensure proper handling and delivery of guest belongings
- Assist with special events VIP arrangements and promote hotel services to guests
- Develop and implement strategies to upsell hotel services and enhance guest satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of guest services team performance and departmental expenses
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies safety regulations and local laws
- Conduct regular inspections of bell carts luggage storage areas and other equipment to ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness
- Stay updated on industry trends and implement innovative practices to enhance the guest experience
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a front office or bell service role preferably in a luxury hotel setting with demonstrated leadership skills
- Excellent knowledge of Dubais attractions culture and transportation systems
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Physical stamina to handle luggage and stand for extended periods
- Professional appearance and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced multicultural environment
