Job Type: Longterm Contract Remote
Job Location: Remote in Egypt
Job Description:
We are hiring an experienced Data Engineer to support finance systems including OFSAA Financial Consolidation and Regulatory Reporting. The ideal candidate will have expertise in ETL processes data modeling and big data technologies to drive data integration and management within a banking environment.
- Design and implement data models to support financial reporting and analytics.
- Develop ETL workflows using tools like Informatica for data integration and transformation.
- Work with banking finance functions including financial consolidation cost allocation and profitability reporting.
- Utilize big data technologies like Hadoop HDFS Hive Sqoop and Spark to optimize data processing.
- Manage and optimize SQL databases for structured data storage and retrieval.
- Ensure data accuracy and quality across systems.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support business and regulatory reporting requirements.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT or a related field
Proven experience in Data Engineering within Finance Systems
Handson experience with ETL tools (Informatica preferred)
Strong SQL skills and database management experience
Knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem and big data processing
Analytical mindset with attention to detail
Excellent problemsolving and collaboration skills
