We are seeking a skilled and experienced Joinery Supervisor to lead and manage joinery workshop operations and site-based installations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in woodworking excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage production timelines cutting lists and material requirements efficiently. You will be responsible for ensuring all joinery work meets design specifications quality standards and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily joinery workshop activities
- Prepare cutting lists and material requirements for each project
- Read and follow technical drawings and cutting schedules
- Ensure high-quality finishing and attention to detail
- Manage team schedules and assign tasks
- Monitor materials tools and inventory
- Maintain safety standards in the workshop
- Support and train new workers
- Coordinate with project managers and other departments
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in joinery carpentry or woodworking
- Previous experience leading a team or supervising a workshop
- Strong knowledge of wood materials tools and joinery techniques
- Able to read and understand technical drawings
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer skills are a plus
