Key Accountabilities :

Contribute to and ensure successful project development as per approved budget.
Prepare and submit project cost estimates and appraisal report.
Scope and appraise projects taking into consideration technology innovation
Ensure the preparation of project execution plans RP& EPC contracts
Manage assigned projects in order to ensure that they are executed and results are delivered within time budget and required standards.
Coordinate different project activities in order to ensure timely and accurate execution.
Monitor and control project expenditures to maintain financial performance within approved budgetary limits.
Monitor and control project progress in order to escalate any issues and take corrective actions.
Assign project resourecs to projects as needed in order to ensure that timely and adequate delivery of required work.
Represent the client of the assigned projects in front of external end user government representatives such as Ministers and Prime Ministers.
Timely inform the executive team and stakeholders of any project delays and identify critical issues that need to be resolved to keep project completion on track.
Prepare informative weekly and monthly project progress reports as required and to the desired standard.
Prepare for project steering committee reviews in order to provide the required updates.
Prepare project performance status cost control staffing and programme reports
Attend high level meetings with project stakeholders as necessary.
Contribute to the develoment and implement work plans to meet project dynamic needs and programme reports
Participate and develop project lessons learned in order to contribute to risk management and mitigation.
Seek knowledge and search new systems that can help in the successful development and delivery of projects
Ensure relationships with service level providers are managed smoothly and effectively in a way that guarantees that Masdar is provided with quality and timely services in line with relevant service level agreements.
As and when required by management personally manage key relationships/negotiations with relevant internal and external stakeholders in order to ensure the negotiation and agreement of favourable deals and agreements that safeguard Masdars best interest while ensuring the delivery of necessary needs/goals.
Contribute to the continuous improvement and implementation of unit systems policies and procedures covering all areas of activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements and standards are fulfilled while ensuring that policies and procedures support the delivery of the strategy.

Qualifications :

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in electrical and/or economics science engineering or equivalent.
Masters degree in relevant field in an asset
PMI/PMP certification desirable

Preferred Experience :

6-8 years of project management experience with exposure to global sale and complex energy technology and utility projects in large multi-national companies or an equivalent experience.
Good knowledge of utility in UAE and international energy sector
