- Prepare mix and serve a wide range of beverages including cocktails mocktails spirits wines beers and specialty drinks.
- Greet guests with warmth and professionalism take accurate orders and deliver personalized service.
- Adhere to standardized recipes garnishing techniques and presentation guidelines for all beverages.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area including counters glassware utensils and equipment.
- Monitor inventory levels of beverages garnishes ice and supplies; assist with restocking and procurement.
- Process payments efficiently using POS systems issue accurate bills and manage cash and card transactions securely.
- Stay current on the bar menu signature drinks seasonal offerings and promotional campaigns.
- Enforce legal drinking age policies and practice responsible alcohol service at all times.
- Restock bar shelves refill side stations and apply FIFO (First In First Out) rotation for all inventory.
- Prepare pre-mixes syrups and garnishes as part of daily mise-en-place routines.
- Collaborate effectively with bar team members and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service operations.
Requirements
- Fresher and experience as a bartender or bar steward in a hotel restaurant lounge or nightlife setting.
- Strong knowledge of mixology including classic cocktails modern trends and beverage pairing principles.
- Proficiency in using bar tools glassware and equipment including shakers blenders and dispensers.
- Ability to multitask efficiently perform under pressure and maintain accuracy during peak hours.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-first mindset.
- Basic understanding of hygiene sanitation and HACCP food safety practices.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights weekends and holidays.
- Professional appearance and grooming standards in line with expectations.
