Job Title: Senior Receptionist
Function: Customer Service Support & Coordination
Location: Jumeirah Islands Pavilion
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Senior Receptionist provides Members and Guests with the first impression of the fitness facility
and the brand. Front of House staff must be friendly calm courteous and capable of handling all types of enquiries.
Client Management
- Welcome Members and Guests into the facility.
- Answer phone calls emails and social media messages promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service and answer questions about classes memberships and facilities.
- Handle new client sign-ups waivers and orientation.
- Nurture track and communicate with leads daily.
- Qualify new leads through preset questions and follow up and/or delegate to a senior team member.
- Enrol new Members and handle enquiries related to membership policies terms and conditions cancellations and suspensions.
- Check in clients for classes personal training or appointments.
- Inform Members and Guests about promotions events and services.
- Ensure client CRM profiles and notes are continually updated.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance payments and client information.
- Schedule classes assessments and events in the CRM.
Housekeeping & Refreshments
- Ensure the facility is kept clean tidy hygienic and safe.
- Assess and report stock levels for supplies and ensure timely restocking.
- Take prepare and serve beverage and snack orders when the designated staff is unavailable.
- Support coaches with class setup and client coordination.
- Handle minor troubleshooting (sound systems booking systems CRM).
- Assist in daily opening and closing procedures.
Sales & social media
- Post content and respond to comments/messages on social media as per marketing guidelines.
- Handle payment transactions and ensure sales are logged correctly in the CRM.
- Promote memberships packages and special offers.
- Track and manage renewals cancellations and freeze requests.
- Upsell services such as personal training assessments classes or merchandise.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-5 years of experience working in a fitness centre/club or similar customer-facing environment.
- Computer literate; proficiency in Excel and CRM systems preferred.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
- Strong numeracy skills
- Ability to multitask
- Good attention to detail
- Friendly and approachable demeanour
