ملخص الوظيفة
- Install and repair electrical wires apparatus and fixtures in guest rooms public areas and back-of-house facilities. This includes everything from basic wiring to complex systems like fire alarms and elevators.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on all electrical systems to ensure they are in good working order and comply with hotel standards and local codes.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults to minimize disruption to hotel operations and ensure guest and staff safety.
- Respond promptly to electrical emergencies such as power outages and assist with emergency power systems like generators.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance repairs and inspections.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent is the minimum with technical diplomas or trade school completion preferred.
- Proven experience as an electrician with a preference for those who have worked in commercial or hospitality environments. A minimum of 1-2 years of experience is often preferred.
- Strong understanding of various hotel electrical systems including lighting HVAC controls fire alarms security systems and power distribution.
- Familiarity with local electrical codes safety standards and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to quickly identify and fix electrical issues.
- Proficiency with electrical tools and testing equipment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to handle unexpected electrical issues.
- Good communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with other departments and staff.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends to minimize disruption to guests.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting standing for long periods climbing ladders and working in confined spaces.
- Meticulous attention to detail is crucial for safety and accuracy.
