JOB PURPOSE AND SCOPE Manage and oversee the full lifecycle of product development including design development testing and manufacturing of mechanical and electronic systems. This role involves leading a multidisciplinary team coordinating with various departments and ensuring that products meet technical requirements performance standards and customer needs. Responsible for driving innovation optimizing design processes and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality products. JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Compliance to ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management System requirement Set the strategic direction for the engineering department and ensure that it aligns with the companys overall goals. Manage the engineering budget and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. Have high standards of collaborating with great international brands and jointly executing projects with our foreign acquired companies. Hire train and develop engineering staff. Oversee the engineering process from conception to deployment. Ensure that engineering projects meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. Represent the engineering department to senior management and external stakeholders. Plan design and oversee engineering projects ensuring theyre completed on time within budget and with the expected quality and reliability and identifying and mitigating any risk. Take any necessary action needed to deliver the project on time and with the expected quality and reliability. Lead the engineering team across different projects and ensure the engineering department is aligned with the companys overall OEM after OEM business model which means: Fast Easy to Plug and Play Simple. v RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES Collaborate with other departments (Sales Design SCM) and the General Manager in order to reach the companys objectives by following its business model. Empower the engineering team by fostering a culture of accountability responsibility customer centricity and excellence. Set the necessary processes and procedures within the Engineering department WORKING RELATIONSHIPS INTERNAL Design QA/ R&D Quality Supply Chain Sales Finance HR & Admin EXTERNAL Contractor Subcontractor Clients Suppliers DECISION-MAKING AUTHORITY - JOB SPECIFICATION QUALIFICATION Masters degree / Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or any engineering related course Diploma in Mechanical Engineering MINIMUM WORKING EXPERIENCE Over All: 15 yrs. Automotive (Up Stream): 15 yrs. Middle East: yrs. Similar Position Minimum: 10 yrs. OTHER HARD SKILL REQUIREMENT (TECHNICAL AND EDUCATION) SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE Extensive experience in product design engineering and development with a strong background in both mechanical and electronic systems. Proficiency in CAD Modelling CAE Analysis Mechanical Engineering Manufacturing Technical team Electronic Engineering (Hardware Design Hardware and DFM/DFA principles. Proven experience in managing manufacturing processes and product costing. SOFT SKILLS (BEHAVIORAL) Strong leadership skills with experience managing technical teams and cross-functional projects. Excellent problem-solving analytical and communication skills. Experience with hardware and firmware design testing and support. Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams suppliers and customers. v v
