Job Description:
The Contracts Engineer is responsible for managing the contractual aspects of projects ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
Review contracts identify and mitigate potential risks and prepare contractual documentation.
Collaborate with project teams vendors and clients to address contractual issues and mitigate disputes.
Ensure that contracts are properly implemented and that all parties fulfil their contractual obligations.
Responsibilities:
- Review and analyse contracts identifying potential risks and contract requirements.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of all contractual agreements and amendments.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and deliverables.
- Collecting and handling contemporary records and documents from relevant teams.
- Assess and prepare response to claims from Suppliers/Subcontractors.
- Provide guidance and support to project teams on contractual matters.
Requirements:
- Should have expertise in using Microsoft excel and word.
- Excellent Verbal & writing skills (experience in drafting Contractual letters and responses).
- Should have a basic knowledge on project-based insurances and Bank Guarantees.
Experience:
At least 2-3 years of experience in Contracting companies as Contract administrator/engineer/QS.
