About the company

Our client is a Web3 development studio focused on decentralized trading products and tools for the DeFi community.
Already generating 7-figure ARR the company continues to grow rapidly expanding into new features and market opportunities.
The team works with fast iteration hackathon-level energy and full ownership of the products they build a small high-impact group where every engineer has a visible impact.

Location & work mode

On-site in Dubai - relocation is expected. Travel and lodging assistance provided.
Remote work is not the target for this position.

Compensation

Competitive package (crypto preferred) stock options / equity with planned raises every few months.

Long-term retention and ownership mindset are strongly encouraged.

Language Strong preference for French-speaking candidates. English proficiency is expected for internal communication.

About the role

Our client is looking for a Product Engineer - a unique hybrid of engineer and product builder.
Youll bridge the gap between technical execution and product direction helping to define prioritize and deliver new features in decentralized trading products.

Youll work closely with the CEO CTO and engineering team shaping product specs debugging features coordinating releases and ensuring technical excellence aligned with business goals.

This position is ideal for a developer with strong product instincts or a product-minded engineer who thrives in a fast-moving DeFi startup.

Key responsibilities

Translate business goals and product ideas into clear technical specifications.
Work closely with developers to break down features manage priorities and ensure feasibility.
Participate in system design testing debugging and product releases.
Contribute to product roadmap and iterate based on data and feedback.
Get hands-on with code infrastructure or QA when needed - no ivory tower product work.
Balance speed vs. stability helping the team ship fast but safely.
Collaborate directly with founders on DeFi product strategy and implementation.

A technical product builder - you understand code architecture and users.
Startup-minded: you prefer autonomy quick iterations and tangible outcomes.
Curious about DeFi blockchain and decentralized trading - or already active in this space.
Structured and proactive capable of turning chaos into a clear plan.
Ready to relocate to Dubai and join a small ambitious team.

Must-have

Experience as a Product Engineer / Product-minded Developer / Technical PM.
Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile principles.
Strong technical grounding in backend technologies ( Python Go or similar).
Understanding of blockchain basics smart contracts or DeFi protocols.
Ability to write concise structured product specs and user stories.
Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
French (required).

Nice to have

Previous hands-on development experience.
Exposure to DEX aggregators trading platforms or on-chain data systems.
Familiarity with Solidity or related stacks.
Experience working directly with founders or early-stage startups.
Interest in trading logic tokenomics or blockchain-based economics.
