As a Commis 2 you will work under the guidance of experienced pastry chefs contributing to the creation of delicious breads pastries and desserts. You will be involved in various stages of food preparation ensuring that all products meet high standards of quality and presentation.
The ideal candidate should have prior experience in pastry or bakery roles preferably in a hotel or resort setting. A strong work ethic attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional baked goods are essential for success in this position.
Requirements - Previous experience as a Commis 1 or Commis 2 in a bakery or pastry environment preferably in a hotel or luxury resort
- Basic knowledge of baking techniques and pastry preparation
- Ability to follow recipes and standard procedures
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced culinary environment
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Certificate in culinary arts or relevant training in baking and pastry preferred
- Must be available to relocate to the Red Sea area
