As a UI / Experience Designer you will play a critical role on our digital design team to create exceptional design aesthetics and impactful visual experiences for our clients. You will apply your UI expertise to shape an attractive intuitive and responsive experience that meets and exceeds the goals of our clients. You will work collaboratively with our internal teams to execute digital campaigns across our clients website while providing constructive this position you will have the opportunity to thrive in a fast-paced environment where you are encouraged to own your craft and present your work with confidence.
What youll do:
- Execute flawlessly designing beautiful crafted and responsive websites apps
and digital experiences.
- Deliver compelling and striking conceptual design directions and explorations.
- Work within a Design Studio approach collaborating with internal partners such as UX designers writers engagement leads project managers strategists developers and leadership.
- Build trusted relationships with clients through your ability to understand their needs collaborate effectively provide thoughtful recommendations and execute flawlessly.
- Pivot effortlessly as needed based on evolving requirements timelines and feedback.
- Learn about client and audience needs and contribute to the creative and design process through participation in client meetings.
- Present your work to clients and convert feedback into design direction to make further improvements.
Who you are:
- You are passionate about the look feel and interactivity of a digital experience.
- You are eager to learn and grow. If you arent working on a project youre likely reading about the latest digital trends or competitor innovations.
- You have an eye for detail and the unique ability to translate user and business needs into meaningful campaigns and site updates.
- You are a proactive problem-solver who takes the initiative and carries a positive
can-do attitude.
- You are flexible with the ability to handle multiple demands shifting priorities and rapid change. Ambiguity is not something that scares you.
- You have solid written and verbal communication skills.
- You are comfortable working in a client-facing role.
What you bring:
- Great portfolio of UI design examples that showcase your ability to bring brands to life through meticulously designed digital platforms and experiences
- 3 years experience as a UI professional skilled in responsive interface design
- Experience leading UI design across multiple platforms
- Proven experience owning projects from start to finish
- Ability to lead working sessions with team members and presentations to clients
- Experience designing complex multi-variant web-based applications
- Proficiency with Figma Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop Illustrator) and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of the best practices for UI and interaction design for responsive experiences
- Experience of working with established design systems as well as an understanding of how to build new ones from scratch
- An understanding of accessibility design issues
- A good understanding of UX best practices
- A passion for UI Design as a discipline and a desire to see it thrive across the business
Youll get extra credit for:
- Experience with designing for content management systems (Sitecore Acquia)
- Agile process experience
- Mobile app design experience
- Motion Design experience
- Experience in brand campaign creative
