Join our dynamic team as an Assistant Waiter in the vibrant city of Dubai United Arab Emirates! We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused individual to support our dining service operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience.
- Assist the lead waiter in serving food and beverages to guests
- Set and clear tables ensuring proper placement of cutlery glassware and dishes
- Greet and seat guests providing menus and answering basic questions about menu items
- Take and relay drink orders to the bar staff
- Refill water glasses and attend to other guest needs throughout their dining experience
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery
- Process payments and handle cash transactions when necessary
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards
- Participate in pre-shift meetings and ongoing training sessions
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication skills with fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and supportive demeanor
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays of food and beverages
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills
- Attention to detail in food presentation and table settings
- Knowledge of food and beverage service techniques (preferred)
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality industry (preferred)
- Food handling certification (preferred)
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings weekends and holidays
