Job Description HR Generalist Manager (Industry preference Oil & Gas / Commodities Trading)
Location: Dubai UAE
Salary: Up to AED 30000 per month depending on candidates experience levels
Industry preference : Oil & Gas / Commodities Trading)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team in the Oil & Gas and Commodities Trading sector. The role requires strong knowledge of UAE labor law general HR practices and preferably experience within DMCC regulations. Recruitment will account for around 20% of responsibilities with the primary focus on broader HR strategy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure full compliance with UAE Labor Law and company HR policies.
- Manage HR operations including payroll employee relations performance management and HR administration.
- Provide HR guidance and support to management and staff across all HR-related matters.
- Maintain and update HR documentation in line with DMCC requirements.
- Lead recruitment for key roles (approx. 20% of workload) including sourcing screening interviewing and onboarding.
- Implement HR best practices to support employee engagement retention and organizational culture.
- Partner with leadership on workforce planning talent management and succession planning.
- Handle disciplinary actions grievances and conflict resolution in compliance with UAE regulations.
- Support training and development initiatives to build employee capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field (Masters preferred).
- Minimum 7 yr-10 years of HR experience in the UAE in HR Generalist role
- Strong knowledge of UAE labor law; prior DMCC knowledge is highly desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and handle sensitive HR matters with confidentiality.
