A Warehouse Assistant supports the efficient operation of a warehouse by ensuring goods are inward checking and releasing the goods for inspection to Quality and ensuring they are of accurate quantity. The assistant also ensures the orders are picked and released for packing which will be dispatched to the customer.
In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Receiving Shipments:
- Receive and process all shipments in Oracle for multiple BUs ensuring correct documentation.
- Receive Drop shipments in the system and coordinate with customer care for picking and invoicing.
- Address any discrepancies identified in the purchase order and incoming documents related to the system receiving.
- Recording and tracking all receipts of goods and materials in the receiving tracker ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
- Coordinate with Dangerous Goods packing agents for proper handling and documentation.
- Coordinate with wooden packing agents to ensure safe and secure packaging of goods.
Order Fulfillment:
- Regularly review the backlog report for direct pick releases to ensure they are processed promptly.
- Pick items according to the releases received from Customer Care ensuring accuracy at all stages.
- Use the Oracle system and the FG App to pick outbound orders
- Coordinate with the shipping team regarding packing details and the final pick list.
- Coordinate with vendors for third-party inspection and certificates for various destinations.
- Maintain detailed records of orders picked and packed shipments and any other relevant documentation.
- Coordinate for any internal inspection with the Quality team.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the manager.
- Adhere to Health Safety & Environment policies as laid by the organization.

For This Role You Will Need:
- A bachelors degree in business engineering logistics or supply chain or a college diploma/equivalent.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a warehouse or material handling function.
- Familiarity with basic warehouse operations and inventory management processes.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks
