1. Supervision & Coordination
- Lead and manage a team of E&I technicians and electricians.
- Assign tasks monitor progress and ensure quality workmanship.
- Coordinate with other departments (mechanical operations HSE etc.) for smooth execution of tasks.
2. Installation & Maintenance
- Oversee the installation testing and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Ensure proper maintenance of electrical panels motors transformers control systems and field instruments.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation faults to minimize downtime.
3. Permit to Work (PTW) & Safety Compliance
- Ensure all E&I work is performed under the Permit to Work (PTW) system.
- Adhere to HSE policies and industry safety standards (OSHA NFPA IEC ATEX etc.).
- Conduct safety toolbox talks and enforce PPE compliance among team members.
4. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain records of work performed test reports and material usage.
- Prepare daily progress reports and communicate with project managers.
- Ensure compliance with electrical drawings P&IDs loop diagrams and as-built documentation.
5. Troubleshooting & Optimization
- Identify and resolve operational inefficiencies in electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Recommend improvements to enhance system performance and reliability.
Qualifications :
- Education: Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.
- Experience: 5 years in oil & gas (E&I supervision).
- Certifications: PTW certification CompEx (for hazardous areas) H2S Awareness and First Aid (preferred).
- Skills: Strong knowledge of PLCs SCADA DCS and field instrumentation.
