We are currently seeking a skilled Pipeline Designer with 5 to 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry specializing in EPCI projects and subsea pipeline in-place design. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and managing pipeline design deliverables across all phases of offshore pipeline projects ensuring high standards of technical accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare detailed design drawings for offshore subsea pipeline systems including alignment sheets route maps isometrics field layouts and installation drawings.
- Support engineering teams in the development of pipeline design concepts and in-place analysis reports by providing accurate CAD and 3D model inputs.
- Interpret and incorporate input from engineering specifications survey data and design calculations into pipeline drawings.
- Assist in clash detection model reviews and integration of pipeline systems with subsea structures and platforms.
- Ensure all design deliverables comply with project specifications client standards and international codes such as DNV API and ASME.
- Update and maintain design documentation throughout the project lifecycle including as-built drawings.
- Collaborate closely with engineers structural designers and installation teams to support fabrication and offshore installation.
- Participate in inter-discipline design reviews and coordinate interfaces with other technical departments.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Diploma or Associate Degree in Drafting Mechanical or related discipline.
- 5-15 years of experience in offshore pipeline design within EPCI projects.
- Strong understanding of subsea pipeline routing in-place design principles and installation considerations.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD MicroStation and 3D modeling tools (e.g. PDMS E3D or S3D).
- Familiarity with pipeline design codes and standards (DNV-ST-F101 API 5L ASME B31.4/B31.8).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and consistent design outputs under tight deadlines.
