We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dynamic emergency care team. The PA will provide highquality patientcentered medical care under the supervision of a licensed emergency medicine physician. The ideal candidate is experienced confident in clinical decisionmaking and capable of working effectively in a fastpaced highpressure environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments including historytaking physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations.
- Perform medical procedures such as suturing splinting intubation wound care and fracture reduction as required.
- Order and interpret laboratory tests imaging studies and other diagnostic procedures.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with emergency physicians.
- Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with patients families and the healthcare team regarding patient status and treatment options.
- Provide patient education on disease management injury prevention and followup care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and emergency department case reviews.
- Maintain accurate thorough and timely documentation of all patient interactions and clinical activities.
Required Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure as a Physician Assistant.
- Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency medicine or urgent care settings preferred.
