Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detailoriented Marketplace Intern to support our Product and Strategy team. This is a handson learning opportunity to gain experience in product research vendor relations inventory management and marketplace operations. Youll be working directly with our Entrepreneur In Residence for Calo Market across all functions.
Main Responsibilities
Product Research & Strategy
- Assist in researching product trends competitor offerings and customer preferences
- Support the team in evaluating product performance and preparing recommendations
- Help maintain internal records of product SKUs and roadmap updates
Vendor Support
- Help coordinate meetings or followups with local suppliers
- Support relationshipbuilding efforts with vendors by preparing meeting notes and summaries
Inventory & Product Management
- Assist in monitoring stock levels and flagging low or expiring inventory
- Help update the Marketplace menu based on seasonality or stock changes
- Work with operations and supply teams to ensure accurate product listings
Product Creation & Data Entry
- Support the creation of product listings by entering details such as pricing descriptions and nutritional information
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across platforms
Subscription & Campaign Support
- Assist in managing Addon subscription options by tracking performance and user feedback
- Help organize promotions and nearexpiry campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team
Qualifications
- A current student or recent graduate in Business Marketing Supply Chain or a related field
- Passionate about food retail or ecommerce
- Comfortable with data entry and learning new tools or systems
- Organized proactive and eager to learn in a fastpaced environment
- Youre highly attentive to detail and take pride in your organizational skills
- Youre energetic and interested in healthy products
- Youre friendly empathetic and able to get along well with people from diverse backgrounds
