Assistant Store Keeper

Responsibilities & Duties
1. Monthly Reports preparation
2. Performing Physical count and updating in Maximo systems
3. Active participation in management systems like IMS, BCMS etc
4. Offload the materials using forklift and/or collect materials using pick up.
5. Receive the materials & spares against purchase orders; record the received material in the inward register/Ledger.
6. Call the respective discipline engineer /technician for material inspection.
7. Inspect the material along with the discipline engineer/technician & record the accepted/rejected materials.
8. Prepare the Goods receive note, sign it & get it signed by the respective discipline engineer.
9. Prepare discrepancy/non-conformity report if required & follow it up with procurement engineer & suppliers for replacement of the spares /materials.
10.Place the received material in their location bins after inspection & update MAXIMO system.
11.Material Segregation by tagging with part#, specification and location.
12.Review material request by maintenance disciplines, check the availability, issue the material, get the SIV signed & post the transaction in Maximo.
13.Maintains records of all transactions.
14.Ensure safe methods of material storage.
15.Periodically check the fire fighting system is working in condition & is accessible in case of emergency.
16.Take the necessary precautions for the storage of chemical and hazardous materials.
17.Ensure the MSDS is clearly displayed in the chemical warehouse.
18.Ensure the all safety equipments, like fire hoses, safety showers & eye wash are working.
19.Ensure that all emergency exit doors passages are clear from any obstacles or materials.
20.Keep the warehouse clean & tidy.
