Black Pearl have been given an exclusive mandate to search for a CHRO. This role will be for a multinational organization based in the UAE with satellite offices across the GCC region. In this role, the job holder will have the following responsibilities which include designing and evaluating career paths, overseeing all HR functions and crafting strategies that meet our client’s business goals.

Other responsibilities will include:

  • Craft talent acquisition strategies to build strong pipelines for future hiring needs
  • Formulate career development plans
  • Promote inclusion in the workplace and reinforce our position as an equal opportunity employer
  • Ensure our hiring, onboarding and management procedures are effective for diverse groups
  • Lead employer branding efforts (like recruitment marketing)
  • Supervise HR Managers
  • Evaluate training and development programs
  • Develop HR policies for all branches, countries, regions
  • Analyze the effectiveness of our HR procedures and tools
  • Ensure HR plans align with our mission and business objectives

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:

  • A master degree holder with additional HR qualification
  • With minimum total of 15 years of HR experience, of which 7 years in senior managerial role; ideally should have a previous/current work experience as a Chief HR Officer, VP of HR or similar role
  • Experience in strategic planning
  • In-depth knowledge of all HR functions
  • Hands-on experience with HR software (HRIS, ATS), preferably with system implementation experience
  • Good understanding of the UAE and other GCC labor legislation
  • Excellent leadership abilities
  • Communication and problem-solving skills
  • Willing to travel across GCC region, when needed
