- Hotel Overview:Fairmont The Palm is a luxury, world-class resort located on the iconic Palm Jumeirah Island in Dubai. The hotel features 391 guest rooms and suites with dedicated Fairmont Gold rooms and lounge. A total of 11 food and beverage outlets on property offer international dining options including Little Miss India, Frevo - Brazilian Churrasco experience, Seagrill Bistro, Ba Restaurant and Lounge, Blowfish, Flow Kitchen, The Cigar Room, Vuvuzela and others.

Support a skilled and engaged team as Stewarding Supervisor, where your care and inspection of all flatware, tableware and kitchen equipment will ensure a superior standard.Responsibilities:Consistently offer professional, friendly and proactive guest service while supporting fellow ColleaguesLead and supervise the Stewarding team in all aspects of the department and ensure standards are followedSupervise and maintain the sanitation of kitchen equipment and other areas assignedTrain all Kitchen StewardsEnsure the Kitchen Colleagues have the dishes silverware required and guests have clean dishesReview banquet event orders and ensure all set-ups and supplies are in placeEnsure all breakages and chipped items are taken out of circulation and inventoriedEnsure all equipment is in working order and report any items in need of repairFollow department policies, procedures and service standardsMaintain a clean and safe work environmentOther duties as assignedQualifications:Previous experience in a similar position is a mustStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesComputer literate in Microsoft Window applications preferredUniversity/College degree in a related discipline an assetHighly responsible & reliableAbility to work well under pressure in a fast paced environmentAbility to work cohesively as part of a teamAbility to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all timesVisa Requirements:Please note that you must be eligible to live and work in Dubai.Why work for Accor?We are far more than a worldwide leader.
