We are seeking a highly motivated and detailoriented Project Control Officer to support our projects within the Water Environmental and Energy Transition Regional Service Line. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time within budget and to the required quality standards. This role involves close collaboration with project managers stakeholders and other team members to monitor and control project performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Scheduling:
Assist in the development of project plans and schedules.
Monitor project timelines and milestones to ensure timely completion.
Identify potential delays and propose corrective actions.
Budget and Cost Control:
Track project budgets and expenditures.
Conduct cost analysis and forecasting.
Prepare financial reports and provide recommendations for cost optimization.
Risk Management:
Identify and assess project risks.
Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
Monitor and report on risk status throughout the project lifecycle.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
Conduct regular quality audits and reviews.
Implement corrective actions to address any quality issues.
Stakeholder Communication:
Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders.
Prepare and present project status reports.
Facilitate project meetings and document key decisions and action items.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate and uptodate project documentation.
Generate regular progress reports and dashboards.
Ensure compliance with internal and external reporting requirements.
Qualifications :
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree (minimum) in Project Management Engineering Environmental Science or a related field.
Proven experience in project control or project management preferably within the water environmental or energy sectors.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
Proficiency in project management/reporting software (e.g. MS Project Primavera PowerBI).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
